A connected product can work perfectly in a laboratory demonstration and still frustrate users once range, permissions, multiple nearby devices, phone lifecycle behaviour and interrupted onboarding enter the picture. Those conditions are part of the product, not exceptions to it.
We design the communication model and the user journey together so pairing, provisioning, control, telemetry and recovery have explicit behaviour. Where we are also involved in the electronics prototype, we can test those paths against the real device while the hardware and protocol are still flexible enough to change.
