FROM CONCEPT TO SOMETHING TESTABLE
Prototype Design & Proof of Concept
Working proof-of-concept hardware that helps you demonstrate an idea, validate the difficult technical assumptions and decide what should happen before a production design is commissioned.
Build enough of the product to learn something useful
A good prototype has a purpose. Sometimes the question is whether a sensor can provide usable data. Sometimes it is whether Bluetooth onboarding works in the real user environment. Sometimes the important thing is demonstrating an end-to-end product journey to stakeholders before the production budget is committed.
We define that question first, then assemble the electronics, software and test setup needed to answer it. The prototype can use development boards, custom PCBs or a combination of both depending on what needs to be proven.
- Proof-of-concept circuit and board assembly
- Component and module integration
- Sensor, control and communication testing
- Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity with a mobile app
- Demonstration workflows for stakeholders or user testing
- Technical notes and recommendations for the next phase
A proof of concept should reduce the risk of the next decision
We do not treat the prototype as production-ready hardware unless that has genuinely been engineered. Its value is the evidence it creates: a difficult interface works, a communication path is practical, a product journey makes sense, or a technical assumption needs to change.
