Electronics & prototype hardware development for connected products
We design and develop prototype electronics, PCBs and proof-of-concept hardware for standalone and app-connected products. From circuits and component selection through bring-up, sensors and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, the aim is to prove the hardware behaviour early and create something real you can test. Native apps, web interfaces, APIs and backend services can be developed alongside where the complete product requires them.
Prototype to answer the expensive questions early
A useful hardware prototype is not a miniature production run. It is a tool for learning: can the electronics measure or control what they need to, is the wireless path dependable enough for the intended use, can the app and device recover from failure, and are the selected components practical for the next stage?
We focus on prototype electronics, PCB design, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/IoT integration and working proof-of-concept assemblies. Where a mobile app or backend is part of the product, we can test those boundaries at the same time rather than leaving integration until after the hardware decisions are fixed.

Focused hardware services
Electronics & PCB Design
Prototype electronics and PCB development for connected devices, sensors and control products, including bring-up and practical bench testing.
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi & IoT Integration
Wireless product integration that considers onboarding, permissions, range, reconnect behaviour and the mobile experience as one system.
Prototype Assembly & Proof of Concept
Working proof-of-concept hardware designed to demonstrate the difficult path, support user testing and inform the next engineering decision.

Connected products benefit from one end-to-end technical view
When an app, device and backend are developed independently, each team can make reasonable local decisions that create a poor combined experience. We work across those boundaries during prototyping so pairing, provisioning, control, telemetry and recovery are tested as product journeys rather than isolated technical demonstrations.
Our hardware work is intentionally focused on prototype and proof-of-concept stages. Where a project moves into production design, certification or manufacturing engineering, we make that boundary clear and provide useful technical artefacts for the specialists who take it forward.
